Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Awareness Month
Gain a greater understanding of this growing problem and discover ways you can help create change by participating in workshops and taking an awareness quiz.
Plus, receive a FREE Gateway t-shirt and air freshener for attending one or more workshops.
One t-shirt and air freshener per student. Students must pick up their items at the Racine Campus by February 29, 2024, unless alternate arrangements are made. Staff can participate, but only students are eligible for the giveaway. Giveaways are limited to the first 10 people who register.
Drive Safe and Sober Workshop
Tuesday, January 23 • 2-3 p.m., Virtual.
Drinking and driving don't mix, but it's often hard to tell how much is too much. Learn how to assess sobriety and drive safely.

Join Student Support Counselor Ann Grossman to learn all about drug addiction and its harmful effects on the body.

Narcan Training
Tuesday, January 30 • 10-11 a.m.
Racine Campus • Student Services Center, Room R301 Learn about Narcan and fentanyl abuse as well as intervention methods for overdoses. Participants will receive a free Narcan overdose rescue kit.
